We at JHL are a leading family-run construction company with over 50 years' cumulative experience primarily in serving the West Midlands region. Our commitment to the industry has seen us successfully deliver all different types of construction projects, from luxury seafront apartments to bespoke residential care facilities.

Our Story

The story of JHL is one that goes back to the 1980s, when Director Howard originally obtained his City & Guilds Carpentry qualification at Tarmac Homes. Following a successful apprenticeship, he went on to create his own construction company which saw him build all types of developments, from a 30-house development in Oswestry to a multi-million block of luxury apartments in Newquay.

Today, he co-directs the business with son Jake who’s had a trowel in his hand since he could stand. Together, their combined expertise underpinned by the extensive team means that JHL is capable of taking on all forms of construction projects.
